What are the benefits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables?  It certainly is easier to eat frozen or canned fruits and veggies because they are more favorable with a busy lifestyle.  But, research shows that the more fresh fruits and vegetables you eat the less likely you will be to suffer from diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and stroke.  They are chalk full of fiber, healthy nutrients, and vitamins for the body.  The more colorful your selection of fruits and veggies is the more likely you are getting a wide variety of nutrients and vitamins.  They also help you to feel full with healthy calories and fat.  If you are trying to lose weight stock up on non-starchy vegetables and two fruits a day to help curb your appetite and give you the healthy amount of calories your body needs.
