This offer for a meal delivery plan was being sold through my e-mail (information below). I have some concerns about offers like this:

My concern with e-mail blasts like this is, it gives very little information about the nutrition valuation of the products including fat, salt, and sugar. It is difficult to make an informed decision for you and your family without these statistics.
These plans do provide convenience. They are delivered to your doorstep. Secondly, if it is a choice between fast food burger drive-thru or a delivered meal, then there is less question, but if the foods are high in calories, fats and salt, then it doesn’t benefit your waist line or cholesterol issues if the foods are high in salt.
What I’d like to see from the marketers of these product concepts is to stand up for the quality of the products. Then all consumers can evaluate their needs (nutrition, convenience) and make an informed decision.

8 oz mixed greens ( spinach, broccoli, broccoli slaw, pea pods,tomato, asparagus) (88 cal)
3 oz quinoa ( 150 cal)
2 oz chicken with brocolli, pea pods, bamboo shoots, carotts, mini corns, sesame oil, low-salt soy sauce stir fry (275 cal)
served over 3 oz brown rice (105 oz)
Homemade Popcorn ( take a paper lunch bag. Put 3 handfuls of raw popcorn in. Fold over the top. Put into microwave for 1 minute, 55 seconds. Wait and listen. If popping stops, then stop the microwave. Spray with no calorie butter spray. I've found over time that I don't need salt, but salt to taste) (90 cal)
