Today is a time to reflect on the tragedy of 9/11 ten years ago. We remember those we lost and all the loved ones affected. It is times such as these that remind me of the insignificance of trivial matters such as weight loss. I blog about my own journey because I am a "real" person that was overweight who overcame my obstacles to be healthy and I hope my insight helps even one person. I'm constantly struggling with the effects of an eating disorder but 9/11 puts it into perspective; I have my family, friends, and health and I'm very thankful.
Enjoy the beautiful day and hey, maybe you can fit in some exercise today. I know I am! My family and I are going on a hike down to the creek with the dogs. Nothing could be better!
